The protester was described as wearing an Elmo costume with a Palestinian flag draped over his back. In the video, the firefighter shouted, “Go back to fucking Palestine, you fucking anti-American motherfucker!” He continued, “Go back to fucking Palestine! We don’t want you here!” The scene unfolded near a memorial event tied to one of the most painful days in American history, where families gather to remember those murdered on September 11, 2001.
The firefighter also named several political figures during the confrontation. He shouted, “And take fucking Obama, take fucking Mamdani with you, and fucking AOC and Hochul! Take them all! They’re all no fucking good!” He added, “You’re all no fucking good! You’re no fucking good! That’s right! Nice job, pal.” The source reported that Barack Obama, Zohran Mamdani, Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, and New York Gov. Kathy Hochul were all in attendance at the ceremony that morning.
