This keeps getting better every day.
One of their own decided to help themselves to donations.
Organizers of Occupy Portland say they fear as much as $20,000 donated to the group through a PayPal account has disappeared.
They also say the group’s finance committee has hijacked the demonstration’s Internet domain name and filed for incorporation against the wishes of the group’s decision-making body.
The demonstrator who filed the papers with the state said Wednesday she did so to protect the protest, and she has received death threats as a result.
Jordan LeDoux, who works for the media, communications, public relations and web team of the demonstration, said Wednesday that since 8 p.m. Tuesday, Occupy Portland has not been able to get into its Internet page, occupyportland.org.
LeDoux says a member of the finance committee apparently took control of the website.
More fights, assaults.
Fights are erupting among Occupy Wall Street protesters, so much so that one corner of Zuccotti Park has emerged where protesters say they won’t go for fear of their safety, the New York Daily News is reporting.
Police officers also have been warned of “dangerous instruments” being concealed in cardboard tubing, the News says it has been told by unidentified police sources.
Updated: An article about the bullying, infighting and thug tactics used on OWS members who say things the others don’t want to hear:
Occupy protesters these days are fond of chanting “This is what democracy looks like!” — a slogan they borrowed from other far-left protests in recent decades.
But at Occupy Los Angeles, fellow photojournalist Ringo captured what democracy really looks like in the OWS milieu. Yeah, Occupations have their “General Assemblies” and their up-twinkles and so forth, but that only works when everyone is already in essential agreement after the real dissenters have already been expelled, leaving the “democratic assembly” to at most bicker over minor details.
But what happens when there is deep fundamental disagreement on some point — in this case the key point of who is allowed permission to speak in the first place? Do the Occupiers have their own version of the First Amendment, or perhaps something even better?
In a word: No.
The deeply disturbing underbelly of Occupy groupthink was captured by Ringo a couple weeks ago at the Occupy LA encampment when two disgruntled protesters wanted to have their say on the camp’s “open mike” stage which is supposedly free for anyone to use. According to the Occupy philosophy, this system is even better than the First Amendment, because with an open mike, every single person has an equal voice (not just those who control the broadcast media).
Except what happens when one of your own starts saying things that the other Occupiers don’t want to hear?
Below you will find a series of videos taken from Ringo’s report Infighting, Pot Smoke & Chemtrails – One Hundred Minutes at Occupy L.A. (In this post we’ll be focusing on the “infighting” part; read Ringo’s full report for more on the Chemtrails lunacy and open drug use.)
……“Seems a man who wanted to make a short speech walked up on the empty stage with his own portable P.A. system, but as soon as he began to speak he was quickly surrounded by fellow occupiers who were intent on preventing him. They repeatedly unplugged his microphone. In the picture below you can see the man who wanted to speak in the brown sweater being faced off by a very angry Aztlan-warrior-hippie in a yellow shirt.
……This is the essence of what the future would look like in an Occupied nation, boiled down into a two-minute video: When there are no laws and/or no one to enforce those laws, then the bullies will control society.
“A guy in a striped tank-top and flat cap came over to cool things down. He kept saying, ‘Listen to me, I’m from San Francisco, I know how this works, I’m from San Francisco, listen to me.’ …Nobody seemed to care that he was from San Francisco. The shouting and shoving continued.
“Evidently a moment of silence had been scheduled for noon – just about the exact moment the ruckus began. The ‘moment of silence’ was to be followed by a one hour yoga session on the main stage, accompanied by Indian chanting – the purpose of which was to exorcise the bad energy and heal the rifts between the various factions. As the yogis took the stage, the imbroglio continued. As you can hear in the next video, the man who was being prevented from speaking starts calling for the police to help him…but there were no police around”:
Doing their bit for that “99%”.
A New York City cafe cut its staff by nearly 25 percent last week because of lost business due to the ongoing Occupy Wall Street protests, the cafe’s owner told FoxNews.com.
Marc Epstein, owner of the Milk Street Cafe at 40 Wall Street in lower Manhattan, said he had to cut 21 of the 97 members of his staff on Thursday and Friday after seeing sales plummet by 30 percent in the six weeks since the protests began. He’s also been forced to slash the restaurant operating hours, moving up his closing time from 9 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. Mondays through Thursdays.
The incessant noise and police activity aside, Epstein said the biggest obstacle to his business has been the ubiquitous New York police barricades surrounding Zuccotti Park in lower Manhattan.
“It’s not only a physical impediment, it’s a psychological impediment,” Epstein told FoxNews.com. “You look down Wall Street now, and it looks like it’s under siege. So, people who have to walk down Wall Street don’t walk down Wall Street. It used to be a beautiful pedestrian mall, and now it’s not — it’s ugly.”
If the barricades are not removed, Epstein said he “cannot see” how his business could sustain itself. The eatery, which opened in June, is a $4 million venture and is an expansion of the Boston restaurant he and his wife opened decades earlier.
“It’s my first venture in New York and my last venture in New York,” he said.
Terrorists get a forum.
Alicia Rodriguez (in the video) is a Puerto Rican nationalist who received a sentence of 55 years for seditious conspiracy and other charges. She was sentenced on February 18, 1981, and incarcerated in a U.S. federal prison. She was released early from prison as part of Bubba Clinton’s Pardongate.
This was broadcast by accident, but it’s spot on.
One ‘occupy’ moron blubbered:
“If we fail, this civilization that is known as America will collapse. It will turn into a police state and I will flee back to Australia and live in my little community in Tasmania and hope that it doesn’t reach over there.”
Here’s hoping the bedwetter already took his ass back to Tasmania.
Like the bovine hypocrite Micheal Moore, there are a number of protest punks that come from a wealthy demographic; not a good representation of the so-called “99%” .
Many “Occupy Wall Street” protesters arrested in New York City reside in more luxurious homes than some of their rhetoric might suggest, a Daily Caller investigation has found.
For each of the 984 Occupy Wall Street protesters arrested in New York City between September 18 and October 15, police collected and filed an information sheet recording the arrestee’s name, age, sex, criminal charge, home address and — in most cases — race. The Daily Caller has obtained all of this information from a source in the New York City government.
Among addresses for which information is available, single-family homes listed on those police intake forms have a median value of $305,000 — a far higher number than the $185,400 median value of owner-occupied housing units in the United States.
The bored little rich kids are just there to partay, get high, eat free food, and get laid. It’s like a college frat house, except they’re camping in tents.
They really don’t know how hideous they look. Their squat, riot, and destroy ‘protests’ are a glimpse into the vestiges of a depraved lunatic fringe; a septic tank full of mentally deranged street denizens, leftover 60’s radicals, neo-Bolsheviks, rich spoiled adolescents, union thugs, anarchists, nazis, thieves, felons, rapists, molesters, leftwing media hacks, and attention whores looking for their 15 minutes of fame.
Where ever these deluded moonbats ‘Occupy’ , they represent a breakdown of society. Take a good look at the composite groups out front and behind this movement. Their goal is not just about the disintegration of capitalism, it’s about the complete destruction of the Democratic Republic.
This is Lord of the Flies, only with a different age group. And to make things even more amusing, they’re eating each other.
