Leftwing political violence has escalated.
The anti-ICE gunman who opened fire on a bus full of immigrants being led into an immigration processing facility from a Dallas rooftop has been identified as Joshua Jahn, law enforcement sources told The Post.
The words “anti-ICE” were scrawled on a stripper clip of ammo found near the body of Jahn, 29, who died of a self-inflicted gunshot wound at the scene, authorities said.
One migrant who was being transported to the facility was killed, and two others were wounded and in critical condition, according to the Department of Homeland Security.
“I can confirm at this time that the FBI is investigating this incident as an act of targeted violence,” Joe Rothrock, special agent in charge of the FBI in Dallas, said at a press conference.
“It is unfortunately just the latest example we’ve seen of targeted violence, to include here in north Texas where back on July 4 we saw a coordinated attack against an immigration center in Alvarado.”
Here’s what we know about the Dallas ICE facility shooting
- A gunman identified as 29-year-old Joshua Jahn opened fire on an ICE van at a detention center in Dallas, Texas, in the early hours of Sept. 24.
- Jahn began shooting while detainees were being transferred and the portcullis to the facility was open, reports claim.
- One person died and two were wounded, according to reports. Jahn was found dead on a nearby rooftop from a self-inflicted gunshot wound
- There was writing on the bullets, with one reading “ANTI-ICE,” according to the FBI.
- The shooting is being investigated “as an act of targeted violence,” the special agent in charge of the FBI’s Dallas Field Office, Joe Rothrock, said in a press conference.
Wednesday’s attack was the third shooting attack against ICE or US Customs and Border Protection agents since July, coming as rhetoric from Democratic politicians against the agencies has ratcheted up.
Just hours before Jahn unleashed a spray of bullets on the Dallas facility, California Governor Gavin Newsom spewed anti-ICE rhetoric during an appearance on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert.
The Democratic leader decried federal agents as the “private domestic army” of an “authoritarian government” and said the “ICE issue is alarming beyond words.”
“People ask, ‘Well, is authoritarianism you being hyperbolic?’ Bulls–t we’re being hyperbolic. If you’re a black or brown community, it’s here in this country… These are not just authoritarian tendencies; these are authoritarian actions by an authoritarian government,” he said during the lengthy rant on Tuesday night.
Our immigration laws are non-negotiable. Anyone who breaks those laws or aids and abets those who do, should be deported or put in jail, respectively.
ICE agents are doing their job. They are enforcing our laws and protecting American citizens from the hordes of illegals that flooded the country under the Dems’ open borders policy, and especially with pro-illegal shitbag Alejandro Mayorkas.
The Libs are having grand mal seizures over the mass deportations. They’re posting ugly cry videos and comparing the deportations to—wait for it—the holocaust. Tough shit. They have no such sympathy for the victims of illegal alien assaults, rapes, theft, murder of children, and the drunk unlicensed illegals who kill people while driving.
Biden’s open border disaster allowed thousands of illegals to invade the country.
Dems don’t want a secure border. The more criminals, MS13 gangs, and future welfare recipients flood in, the better.
Not to mention the Islamic terrorists.
The U.S. has the right to control who enters the country. There is no Constitutional or legal right for a foreigner to enter the U.S. It’s a privilege.
Illegals have been receiving benefits like food stamps, welfare, free education, tax credits, medical care, and housing for years.
