The Army’s top enlisted leader shot back at criticisms of a post from the 82nd Airborne celebrating LGBTQ+ members in a two-day Twitter battle, tweets show.
Twitter users, many of whom described themselves as veterans in their account bios, mocked the 82nd Airborne’s Friday morning post kick-starting the unit’s observance of Pride Month as a “disgrace” and distracting from the Army’s mission, the comments show. Sgt. Maj. Michael Grinston, the Army’s top enlisted leader responsible for morale and discipline issues in the service, condemned the criticism as harassment and shot back at tweets through Saturday morning as senior military leaders have not shied away from weighing in on American cultural controversies.
“The comment section is a good time to refresh ourselves with discriminatory harassment: A form of harassment that is unwelcome conduct based on race, color, religion, sex (including gender identity), national origin, or sexual orientation,” Grinston wrote.
The 82nd Airborne’s tweet recommended Army families check out a book called a “Survival Guide for Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, and Questioning Teens,” as well as another that describes how parents can learn to “support” their LGBGQ+ child, from the on-base library. The titles are “intended for ages 13 and up,” the photo stated.
……“The comment section isn’t your [Area of Operations], and voicing disagreement is not harassment,” one Twitter user responded at 7:59 p.m. “Many veterans including this one are disgusted by the continued degeneracy of our armed forces, so prepare to copy notes you can refer to later during your retention-crisis strategy meetings.”
……“Why yes this is really something to focus on, people being mean online. Screw warfighting,” another user wrote.
I am so glad I retired before the likes of Obama and Biden filled the military hierarchy with deranged assclowns like Austin and Milley, who facilitate leftist political indoctrination in the military.
This is the quintessential reason why military recruitment has hit rock bottom. No one wants to join the armed forces and be subjected to the unconstitutional vax tyranny and the “woke” bullshit infecting the military.
While the ChiComs and Russia present real threats to the West, the Biden regime and the current crop of proglodytes in the pentagon are hellbent on pushing an agenda that turns the military into mush. The armed forces are being depleted of anyone capable or willing to fight. Forget combat readiness; ‘gay rights’, deference to Islamofascist theocracy, demonizing the nation’s founders, and forcing servicemembers to shower with trannies is the policy. You better make sure you have the pronouns straight.
The hierarchy has also begun scrutinizing social media for criticism.
Instead of honing warfighting skills, West Point cadets are being pummeled with “Critical Race Theory”. One of the instructors forced cadets to call cops “murderers”.
Warrior ethos has been replaced by psychobabble and corrupt social engineering. Soldiers are supposed to understand enemy tactics and study great military strategists ( i.e. von Clausewitz, Patton, Sun Tsu), not worry about driving a wedge between themselves and their fellow troops with divisive racist policies.
Our enemies are laughing their asses off.
According to the White House hijacker, servicemembers are just a discharge away from being “white supremacists”. Soldiers are subjected to “white privilege” briefings and watching their Commanders kiss muzzie ass over “disrespect to the Quran”. A DOD employee sent out an email declaring MAGA to be “white supremacy” and an Army Lieutenant Colonel at Ft. Campbell sent out an email accusing Christians and patriots of being “hate groups”.
I would discourage anyone from enlisting unless or until America gets real leadership that will eradicate the grip of Marxist doctrine infecting the military.
God help us if we get into another full scale war.
