Good. The GOP could use another shakeup and America deserves to be first again.
WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. – Former President Trump Tuesday announced his 2024 candidacy for president in a speech that punched hard at Democrats but skipped over his GOP rivals – staying on message in a way strikingly different from his traditional rallies.
Trump spoke at a moment when many Republicans are distancing themselves from him after lackluster midterm elections for the party. GOP lawmakers, even some traditionally supportive of Trump, hoped he would delay an announcement until after Georgia Senate runoffs, fearing his rhetoric could divide Republicans and drag down GOP candidate Herschel Walker.
However, Trump’s speech, in a tone subdued compared to his traditional campaign rallies, avoided intra-party sniping and denials of the President Biden’s 2020 election victory. There was no reference to “Ron DeSanctimonious,” Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell, R-Ky., or other rivals Trump has gone after as recently as the past few days on his “Truth Social” account.
Instead, he largely focused on touting himself as the person to fix problems plaguing the U.S. under Biden. “America’s comeback starts right now,”
Trump told an enthusiastic crowd that included many members of his inner circle and at various points chanted, “Trump, Trump” and “USA, USA.”
Trump hit on many of his signature issues, including crime, drugs and illegal immigration. He also covered new ground, calling for congressional term limits, regulations on stock trading for federal lawmakers and lobbying bans for former members of the Cabinet and Congress.
Trump slammed Biden on his withdrawal from Afghanistan, alleging that the current president made the U.S. a “laughingstock.” He also attacked Biden for the United States’ assistance to Ukraine in its war against Russia.
In the two years and ten months since Biden’s installment, this country has spiraled into an abyss.
Rampant unchecked crime and carnage in the streets and the soft on thugs policies that release them without bail and often without charges.
The sick and depraved exposure of children to adult sex acts and indoctrination in the schools. Teachers are grooming children with LGBT ideology, gender identity, “transitioning“, and they brag about exposing children to their sexual preferences. Kids are also being involved in “drag events”.
Corrupt Dem politicians use weaponized government agencies to go after opponents and are never held accountable for their own crimes. An illegal unconstitutional government tribunal made of Dem miscreants and RINOs try to dismantle civil liberties and persecute those who speak out against their autocracy. There’s a two tiered system of justice. His hate campaign against MAGA voters has resulted in a wave of physical attacks and murders of Trump supporters and Republicans.
While Biden bumbles, stumbles, and talks like an incoherent mental patient, the ChiComs are drawing up plans for an American defeat. Speaking of the ChiComs, Joe and Hunter Biden have engaged in deals with Beijing that are nothing less than treasonous acts for profit.
Biden’s lies and corruption are on par with Obama’s regime.
His economic incompetence has created an energy crisis, skyrocketing gas and food prices, and inflation. His supply chain disaster led to empty grocery shelves.
His egregious crackdown on civil liberties by his jackbooted DOJ, is unprecedented.
His retarded compulsion of allowing thousands of illegal alien vermin to invade the country, has made us a lot less safe.
His botched withdrawal from Afghanistan that left 13 American service members killed and armed the Taliban with an arsenal of weapons and his idiotic obsession with Ukraine is some of the worst foreign policy disasters on record.
The military is being destroyed by disloyal military brass. with the objective of purging the ranks of any vestiges of patriotism and warrior ethos.
Biden’s decaying mental state has our allies shaking their heads and our enemies laughing their asses off.
President Trump did a lot of good during his term as President in spite of the constant barrage of hate from RINOs, the liberal media, and the mentally deranged Dem population. He reversed much of the damage Barky Obama did to this country and has accomplished more positive improvements to the economy, foreign policy, and national security than all the previous White House occupants since Ronald Reagan. And they hate him for it. So much so that they tried to overthrow a duly elected president on baseless grounds. They hate anyone who stands between them and power. Democrats are terrified of ever having to face Donald Trump again. Trump fought back. Something Republicans need to learn how to do.
If Trump gets the nomination he’ll get elected. Maybe America can salvage some of its greatness.
