The House Weaponization Committee held a hearing Thursday on Capitol Hill. Three government whistleblowers from the FBI testified before Congress on Thursday morning.
On Wednesday Chris Wray’s FBI revoked the security clearances of three agents who espoused questioned the aggressive tactics by the FBI in targeting Trump supporters , conservatives, and pro-Life Americans, according to a letter the FBI sent the subcommittee on Wednesday.
FBI agents Marcus Allen, Garrett O’Boyle, and Steve Friend had already been suspended for questioning the agency’s handling of the January 6 case and stating their beliefs that the FBI has been weaponized against conservatives.
Democrats on the Committee ran interference for the FBI. The Democrat members were openly hostile to the witnesses and attacking them continuously.
At the end of the Rep. Kelly Armstrong (R-ND) asked witness and FBI whistleblower Garrett O’Boyle if he would advise his colleagues to come forward. Agent O’Boyle offered this dire assessment.
Garrett O’Boyle: I would tell them first to pray about it long and hard. And I would tell them I could take it to Congress for them, or I could put them in touch with Congress, but I would advise them not to do it… The FBI will crush you. This government will crush you and your family if you try to expose the truth about things that they are doing that are wrong.
The FBI took O’Boyle’s income and his security clearance after he spoke out about the FBI targeting parents at school board meetings.
The FBI needs to make a choice. They can be the FBI or the Stasi. But they can’t be both.
The ranking Dems at the hearing didn’t like that. They jumped right in and performed their function as attack rats; trying to justify the FBI’s abuse of power and shredding of the constitution:
……(FBI whistleblower) Marcus Allen, an FBI staff operations specialist who served two tours in Iraq with the marines was suspended without pay after the FBI condemned him for having “conspiratorial views in regards to the events of January 6th.” His crime? As part of his research task, he forwarded a link to an open website that said “federal law enforcement had some degree of infiltration among the crowds gathered at the Capitol.” (Which it did.)
FBI Washington Field Office pressured the FBI Boston office to open investigations on 138 bus passengers who traveled to DC Jan. 6, 2021, merely because “two individuals [on the buses] entered restricted areas of the Capitol that day.”
Boston FBI officials responded by asking for video showing the wrongdoing, especially since there was no evidence the passengers had even entered the Capitol.
FBI Washington replied that it couldn’t supply video because it might disclose undercover agents or confidential human sources in the crowd.
In lieu of providing evidence, FBI bosses wanted agents across the nation to presume anyone who was suspected was automatically guilty.
……FBI Special Agent Garret O’Boyle, a 101st Airborne Division member and veteran of the Iraq and Afghanistan wars, was suspended after he was compelled to divide a single domestic-terrorism case into “four different cases” to bolster the Biden narrative of a vast terrorist threat.
Boyle testified that FBI management “creates an Orwellian atmosphere that silences opposition and discussion.”
A committee staff report declared that “the FBI appears to be complicit in artificially supporting the Administration’s political narrative” that domestic violent extremism is “the ‘greatest threat’ facing the United States.”
Another witness was Steve Friend, a 12-year FBI veteran and SWAT team member who was suspended without pay in September after complaining the FBI was falsifying data on domestic terrorism.
Friend lamented last year the leftist tilt of FBI management: “There is this belief that half the country are domestic terrorists and we can’t have a conversation with them. There is a fundamental belief that unless you are voicing what we agree . . . you are the enemy.”
…….Rep. Thomas Massie (R-Ky.) condemned Democrats for disparaging the witnesses. Massie groused, “Big business is working with the government to weaponize against the American people.” He hammered Bank of America for sending the FBI a list of all its customers’ charge or debit cards used in Washington between Jan. 5 and 7, 2021. Massie complained that anyone who had ever purchased a firearm with a Bank of America card was “elevated to the top of the list” — even if the purchase occurred in Iowa in 1999.
…..O’Boyle told the committee: “I never swore an oath to the FBI. I swore my oath to the Constitution.”
Perhaps someone should remind House Democrats that, likewise, their oath was to the Constitution and not to the FBI.
Unfortunately, the FBI can count on a vast Praetorian Guard on Capitol Hill to prevent Americans from learning how their rights and liberties have been trampled.
The FBI is “broken” and is “targeting” agents who hold conservative political beliefs, the House Judiciary Committee and Select Subcommittee on the Weaponization of the Federal Government charged in a report released Thursday that cites current and former bureau workers.
Special agents Garret O’Boyle and Stephen Friend, supervisory intelligence analyst George Hill and staff operations specialist Marcus Allen, as well as unnamed whistleblowers, have alleged that America’s top law enforcement agency is beset by “abuse, misallocation of resources and retaliatory conduct,” the Judiciary panel said in a statement.
In the words of one of the whistleblowers, the FBI has become “cancerous” and “let itself become enveloped in this politicization and weaponization.”
The 78-page interim report by the House panels states that O’Boyle and Friend were suspended indefinitely for making protected disclosures to Congress after supervisors ignored concerns they raised about potentially illegal conduct.
O’Boyle was transferred from Kansas to a Virginia field office before being suspended on his first day on the job. He apparently was forced to borrow clothing for his children since his family’s possessions at the time were locked away in an FBI storage facility.
……The whistleblowers also have accused FBI leadership of pressuring agents to reclassify many cases as incidents of domestic violent extremism, an effort that is reportedly “manipulating its case categorization system to create the perception that [Domestic Violent Extremism] is organically rising around the country.”
They also cited a “disconcerting aspect of the FBI” involves performance metrics, which reward special agents in charge when their field office conducts a certain number of “Title III wiretaps, or FISAs, or other sophisticated — sophisticated techniques,” O’Boyle said.
He said the incentive “leads to a pervasive culture of not letting the case dictate where the investigation goes.”
These whistleblowers are not only ones to speak out. Former FBI Deputy Assistant Director of the Counterterrorism Division Terry Turchie slammed the use of SWAT teams to terrorize people accused of misdemeanors.
Whistleblowers have come forward to say Christopher Wray has lost control of the agency; that the same FBI boss who shut down the probe into Hunter Biden’s laptop also pressured agents to inflate the number of “domestic extremists”, and how the agency suppresses evidence of Biden family crimes.
The corrupt FBI sewer rats have committed egregious crimes against civil liberties to intimidate and suppress dissent. Since 6 January, FBI gestapo targeted an innocent man for attending President Trump’s 6 January rally, raided the wrong home in Alaska looking for Nancy Pelosi’s laptop, arrested a man for standing inside the capitol and waving a Trump banner, confiscated a Lego set from an “insurrectionist” and asked that citizens turn in their “extremist friends and relatives“.
Jan 6 protesters are being held without due process in Biden’s gulag while Antifa and BLM thugs walk free. They have been beaten and isolated by the guards. Lawyers for one, a man called Ryan Samsel, say he was beaten so badly he has a skull fracture and is now blind in one eye.
One of them died awaiting trial.
The FBI framed the 6 January MAGA protesters by inserting undercover agents and informants in the crowd to encourage violence. It backfired, but that’s not stopping the Feds from persecuting people who simply wandered the hallways, stood outside the building, and peacefully protested. The FBI’s role was intended to be subversive and to gather as much intelligence on the participants as possible.
Why aren’t Tim Gionet, Luke Phillip Robinson and Ray Epps in solitary confinement with the rest of the political prisoners in their gulag?
The FBI and DOJ are rounding up dissidents and engaging in political persecutions. The Dems have turned the government into a machine that rivals the Stasi. Look what they’ve done to people who protest the corrupt status quo and refuse to obey the regime.
The home of gubernatorial Candidate Ryan Kelley was raided simply because he stood outside the capitol on January 6.
This is the kind of shit that happens in communist dictatorships and Banana Republics.
