Multiple current and former senior Justice Department and FBI officials have begun reaching out to lawyers in anticipation of being criminally investigated by the Trump administration, according to three people with knowledge of their deliberations.
Following Trump’s decisive election victory, many DOJ officials and career staffers were already nervous about the possibility that they would be targeted by Trump loyalists, particularly members of Congress. But the selection of former Rep. Matt Gaetz, a firebrand Trump ally who was the subject of a recent FBI investigation, to lead the department has sharply increased the sense of alarm, the sources said.
“Everything we did was aboveboard,” said a former senior FBI official who has started contacting lawyers because he expects to be prosecuted himself. “But this is a different world.”

Since 6 January, FBI gestapo targeted an innocent man for attending President Trump’s 6 January rally, raided the wrong home in Alaska looking for Nancy Pelosi’s laptop, arrested a man for standing inside the capitol and waving a Trump banner, confiscated a Lego set from an “insurrectionist” and asked that citizens turn in their “extremist friends and relatives“. They targeted parents who spoke out against CRT and tyrannical covid mandates.
The FBI framed the 6 January MAGA protesters by inserting undercover agents and informants in the crowd to encourage violence. It backfired, but that’s not stopping the Feds from persecuting people who simply wandered the hallways, stood outside the building, and peacefully protested. The FBI’s role was intended to be subversive and to gather as much intelligence on the participants as possible.

The FBI and DOJ are rounding up dissidents and engaging in political persecutions. The Dems have turned the government into a machine that rivals the Stasi. In in Olathe, Kansas, they forced a pregnant mother to stand outside in 12 degree weather while they arrested her husband, a decorated veteran, for simply walking into the capitol on Jan 6. FYI: He did not cause any harm or damage – in fact, he cleaned trash off the floor, helped to stop theft of government property, asked people to leave the building, and went up to Capitol Police Officers to ask how he could help. He did nothing wrong. He was set up by an FBI operative.
His wife lost the baby the next day.
Everything they do is unlawful and a violation of constitutional rights.
……….like many other current and former Justice Department officials, he is bracing for a potentially long and costly legal battle, as well as the possibility of protracted congressional investigations, after Trump takes office in January.
Career FBI employees are especially vulnerable, the official added. Since they make less money than they would in the private sector, they rely on the pensions they receive after 20 years.
“Agents have to do 20 years,” the former senior FBI official said. “These people don’t have options.”
A former senior DOJ official who served during Trump’s first term said he, too, saw Gaetz’s nomination as a sign of the seriousness of the president-elect’s vow to exact revenge on those who investigated him.
“He needs to be able to control the department, which he can do through a loyal AG beholden to him,” the former DOJ official said.
…….DOJ officials, including Attorney General Merrick Garland, were shocked by Trump’s decisive election win. For the last four years, Garland has argued that strictly following post-Watergate norms that require the DOJ to work in a nonpartisan manner in criminal investigations would restore public trust in the DOJ.
Instead, some career DOJ officials wept after the election, dismayed by the fact that large numbers of Americans apparently continue to believe Trump’s claims that the department is a cesspool of corruption.
DOJ and FBI officials say that the Trump investigations were carried out properly. DOJ prosecutors secured indictments from federal grand juries against Trump for his mishandling of classified documents and his efforts to reverse the 2020 election results.
They expressed bafflement at what criminal charge could be brought against them as a result. “There’s no crime,” said a current law enforcement official. “What’s the crime?”

The fucking DOJ and the FBI have been covering for the Biden crime family for the last 8 years. Whistleblowers from the FBI and DOJ have testified that high ranking leadership in both agencies interfered—obstructed justice—in the investigation of Hunter Biden and Joe Biden’s involvement.
The DOJ knew about Biden’s feckless handling of classified material, but they and the FBI agreed to cover it up. Merrick Garland’s minions opted against having FBI agents oversee a search for classified documents at Biden’s private homes, and ultimately left the matter to Biden’s own attorneys, who have NO security clearances.
The FBI had more than 40 sources informing on possible criminal activity involving the Bidens. Christopher Wray and Merrick Garland shut it down.
Merrick Garland who is as crooked as a dog’s hind leg, repeatedly commits perjury and hasn’t been held accountable.
The evidence collected from Hunter Biden’s laptop is more than enough to indict and convict Joe, Hunter, and most of the immediate family. Hunter was operating as a bagman for the ‘Big Guy’, collecting and funneling money to his father. Federal agents know they have sufficient evidence to charge the Bidens with felonies, which they buried to protect them.
They refuse to acknowledge the mountain of incriminating evidence. They hid the Biden classified documents scandal, knew about the Ukrainian bribery, and they dismiss the national security implications of Biden’s collusions with China.
The FBI used information they knew was false to get FISA warrants and spy on the 2016 Trump campaign.
Had a couple of top agents swear they’d do anything to stop Trump in 2016.
The FBI was part of an attempted coup d’état against a duly elected President.
The FBI colluded with the Democrats to create the false Russia narrative.
Suppressed the Hunter Biden laptop.
Knew about the Bidens’ shady business dealings and did nothing.
Raided Mar-A-Lago, and tampered with the evidence.
Never found the SCOTUS leaker, the DNC J6 Bomber, or figured out what happened in Vegas.
Big Tech social media and the FBI collaborated to control information and disappear anything they didn’t like. Election fraud, Biden’s corruption, and Fauci’s malfeasance were all subject to the kind of suppression found in communist China.
The reckoning can’t come soon enough.
